Some folks have asked why we created this page, when for years we simply rambled along on the Main Page. That's a legitimate question, and we try to avoid those - so we'll answer now. What we've found is that some folks prefer not to read more than they have to, and they found these thoughts distracting. Others only visit the FoxWeb once a week or so and were distressed to think they might have missed something unusually thoughty from a previous page. (Admittedly, our philosophical bits tend to come in unscheduled batches between the weather reports and updates on our four-footed kids.)

So, we created this page specifically to log and catalog the stuff we come up with from time to time which doesn't necessarily have anything to do with anything. Some of it may be profound, some will just be fun thoughts that occur to us when we're up too late updating the FoxWeb... a little of everything. Exactly the sort of things you've grown used to if you like reading our Main Page.

As we work into it and as folks let us know they like what's here, we'll get a little more organized so future generations can read about our cats, or document research papers about varieties of weather in Oz, or perhaps gain an insight into how Magic is loose in the world (and how to tap into it). As with our normal ramblings from the Main Page, things here will be random and inspired by the moment. With luck, it might also be thoughtfully entertaining.
